This release includes many minor changes from the Meeting with Dave two or three weeks ago.
- Combined the Dealer Track and CUDL send buttons. when arkona intergration is done, will likely use same button to submit to all three partners
- Dealer track, AutoCheck, CUDL, now use setting data from the location area, not site settings area
- Sending a notification to the call center, when confirming an appointment by that was set by a salesman
- Added an ADS entry page for BDC. this is for Travis, starting a new campaign or something
- A requirment that one desker in a TD/TT situation be a GM has been added to the tower desking pages
- Have removed PAC approval icon from the lead grid for any user lacking desking power.
- Check for desking rights before building/displaying the PAC Approval summary control
- Updated all the BDC call layers to meet the new requirments
- Updated the getNextKey proceedure to be compatible with the new sales call modes
- added place for new sales call querys(did not build quiries in this step)
- Added new modes to call controls to accomidate new sales modes
- combined call pause into same site settings as the call layer query
- Added more exception catching to the http application
- Gave GSM permission to fix a few things if they deliver a deal wrong, this is only available to them on the same day they delivered the car

This is a clean up release for the March 1 release
- started adding groupNumbers to site settings
- updeated the dealer track send xml feature to use location based settings instead of site setting
- Made a change that I hope will make the adding cobuyer system work better. wont let reg save button change apptype to 2, made the primaryEntry code a little more carefull
- fixed the bad code released for autochecks new page using an iframe

- combined the sitesettings control with the sql querys control

- Fixed AutoCheck, it was really a problem on there side, but now we have three different ways to get the autoCheck page because i kept building different meathods hoping to fix the problem.
- added a redirect url to the desking page on the undelivered list(uplog) that was not doing anything at first
- added some message page popups in finance that allow finance to easily send a message to the customer on marking need to roll back or other stateses
- released a new version of cudl, this version could be the final version pending tests
- organized the site settings with the new tags we now have
- Added a list of users below the existing list of users. The new list displays only locked accounts that are within the last three weeks. this will make it easy to find and activate sales that get thrown in the dog house

- Bug: Start date getting updated/changed for no apparent reason
- Add: A check box for "Is Buys Cars" in a prominant location on the tower desking screen

First Release with CUDL intergration(Beta). Cudl is turned off in settings because I only have test credintials from CUDL, but the code is present and working in test enviroments.
Also I have started redisigning the data to include a group feature. A group feature will allow us to add other companies and maintain seperate data groups. important to resale this software.

Release notes for release made on 2-8-2010 and updated again few days later
- Renamed the front end with doc to "FE Cap1"
- Fixed Javascript error that would not recalculate deal structure values when front end fee was adjusted
- Added an auto expand feature when making changes to the credit application on the desking screen
- Improved the usability of the credit application by making the "Add coBuyer" feature work better in IE. could not overcome the IE issue's but i did add some white space that kept things readable.
- Added a house option to the sales drop down menues. this has no programatical handles, only places house as a text entry for the salesman user name on a deal
- Readded the commission bonus page that was erroniulsly removed
- Fixed bug that broke the email customer feature in the salesman call control.
- Added text and email options for salesman on the salesman desk pages, this was done for sold customers as well to make contact between salesman and there sold customers better.
- Reformated and collapsed by default(unless capped) the arkona data section.
- Started STAR XML code, but then deleted code(copy in archive) when we were given the opertunity to intergrate directly with CUDL using an API.
- Fixed a critical bug that broke the add coBuyer feature completely. (text box control used as string variable in the code)
- Added javascript to the loan to value calculations inside the deal structure control
- Fixed bug with Dealer Track XML not sending co-buyer
- Renamed switch 2 tab to "Work a Deal"

This release includes some bugs and a few minor change orders, however the release has very large and possible problematic changes to the code base. I have reshaped how the classes and and namespaces are formed. I have re factored the class outlines. And have renamed over 5,000 objects. These changes will bring us into conformity with standard coding practices. This will be better for us as we grow in size. There should also be a positive althou small improvement in performance by removing redundant code objects.

- reduction in Low Book finance size LBF has the new header and new footer. Content pages only include pages with back end code, such as feed back pages and credit applications
- Check that the red folder color is marking deals delivered This bug was caused by adding a new vehicle in a deal structure, it automatically replaced the deal Vin. This meant that in most cases the new Vin was not delivered and that messed things up. No the software does not automatically replace the new deal Vin. Also the switch desk screen asks more questions when making a switch.
- check that entry date does not move inappropriately Nothing found wrong, could have been related to the above bug.
- Major code refactoring to bring the code standards of the project closer to industry standard. Done
- Renamed classes and name spaces and enums to be easer to read code. Done

Me and Dave met briefly yesterday and he gave me his change order/bug list
- X Make the approved switch more user friendly. Only require one structure. They may be switching because they want to and we may have the original car approved. Done
- X Re think the entire system on required structures to be more like DEALER TRACK.
- Add deal structure feature to PAC for both LBS and 3rd party dealers. Done
- X Make sure that salesman can set appointments. I did find an error in this feature and fixed it.
- Make sure system sends out a text reminding the appointment right when it is set in real time.
- X Make sure on BB that "some what" and "very likely" show up for 10 days and have a way to remove them from the list before 10 days. 10 day rule Done
- X If salesman sets appointment, does BDC still get in the que to call and remind them the day of? Yes
- Buys cars as a desking option.
- Make call software work better for salesman. (ie bank, pac, etc)
- X Cannot view what other income is unless you are in edit application. Done, also is now faster
- X System keeps kicking me out. Fixed, issue was caused by faulty POP3 code

I made a small release.
I had not updated the public app to the same dbo that was on e sales tower, causing bugs and duplicate apps. I fixed these issues within an hour of discovery by gabe.
I released the first version of the mobile search, uplog and desking pages. Mobile pages still need a way to enter an application.
I added delete buttons on the search control and the leadGrid controls. This allowed me to better remove duplicate items from the database.
Also included a minor change order by Dave. When PAC decisions a turn down deal as a PAC approval the tower status id cleared. No other situations clear the tower status. So if a Pac approval or Pac TD is made, no changes will occure to the deal if the tower has given it an approved status.
Changes made to the BDC layer 9 to better get an approved schedualed call back list. Removed the location filter from every BDC call list.

Release notes for planned Jan 18 release
- Replaced all smpt code, the new code came from open source witch i modified to meet our needs. the code is more stable, does not use system.web.mail and is much faster. I expect that the new release will allow our system to send thousands of emails out, without crashing or breaking the web server. combined with an earlier relase that added a bulk email page, we now have a spaming capable platform.
- Replaced all pop3 code. The new release could introduce dangerous errors because it represents all the code(except XML parsing) that received leads via email. The new code after it is refined should be much more stable and flexible. It come from an open source project and was modified for integration with the sales tower. Or most noticeable benefit will be the speed it can read the inbox. this will allow us to check for xml messages much faster. and by better cashing the inbox, parsing will take a lot less server resources.
- opened the problem comment box for editing after the deal is marked a problem.
- changed the percent used on PAC desking pages from 17% to 15%.
- Added a new simplified deal structure that will replaced the Arkona style deal structure. Added some reduced math that works with the new simplified items, as well as a few new database entries. The old deal structure will be left usable in the database.
- Moved the data store for PAC deal approvals to the primaryDealStructure table.
- Upgraded Email Inbox page UI.
- Bug that benjie had adding a coBuyer was on an older primary record that had been messed with a lot, after investigating i determined the bug to be rare and resolvable by following the basic steps to add a new deal with correct buyer coBuyer.
- Added primaryKey validation to the key search box on master page.
- There was a bug with home net integration. They were sending a XML lead in without the zip code, witch i was accepting. then in an update post, the zip code was present, but instead of setting the correct store The location was left at salt lake and the zip code was corrected. Now the software will reset the store location if the zip code changes.
- I am now saving XML post data on initial and resends even if the source is not over 400. Better debug trail.
- I have corrected a bug that was preventing BDC from changing locations, this was a a permission error.
- Int and double text boxes now return empty strings, when validating float and int strings, a space will result in a 0 returned. thus in the deal structure pages deleting a value is the same as entering a 0.
- added additional fields to the deal structure, re-labled and now it looks exactly like dealer track.
- tweaked the FE advance math
- added JavaScript to deal structure, now displays changes on the fly
- This release because of a more stable pop3 architecture fixes the problem of frequent log outs
Minor changes made after first publish
- added Red astrik to additional required fields in simplified deal structure
- fixed read only atribute on Net Trade box
- replaced the Arkona deal structure with the simplified version on the confirm sale page.
- on the finance desking control, validate if you can switch/resign based on simple deal structures and not the Arkona version
- fixed bug that was not displaying the value for a cobuyers other income field
- added a new mobile search page and control
- fixed bug that would not display the snail mail data for marcie
- fixed a bug that showed a sold then rolled back then back to pending delivery as a grey deal, not yellow. I fixed the color decision code on lead_CustomerGrids to be more accurate. I also placed code in primaryBankBoards that will mark any that get a new pending delivery status as towerStatus = sold. this code is in addition to the delivery process and will not affect dates or assignied reps. It will act as a safty for anyting wierd like the example that exposed the bug.
Also Dave discussed possibly adding a way to check the location of a deal when an appointment is set, capturing when the location needed to be changed. There would be an exception report that exposes how often this happens, and what zip codes. also adding reports for when an appointment is marked kept from a different location.
